According to Deadline, the Season 1 finale’s credits start with a title card that says, “In loving memory of Lance Reddick.” The actor, known for his roles in John Wick and The Wire, passed away suddenly from natural causes on March 17.

His role in Percy Jackson marks one of his final performances, as he passed away shortly after production ended.

Author Rick Riordan, among others, paid tribute to Reddick after his passing, stating “his gravitas and regal bearing made him perfect for the king of the gods.”
